The detached sequencer can be resized both vertically and horizontally. Both the rack and the detached sequencer will have a Transport panel. Any change that’s made on either component’s Transport panel will be reflected in the other. With the rack and sequencer detached, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl/F+1 to bring the rack to the front and Ctrl/F+2 to bring the sequencer to the front. You can toggle between the detached sequencer and the rack using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl/F+~. With the sequencer connected to the rack, the Ctrl/F+2 keyboard shortcut can be used to toggle between the default view with both components visible and having the sequencer area take up the entire rack.

As we’ll see later in this book, built into the Reason program are a great number of editable parameters, many of which can be controlled externally, thereby adding an incredible range of possibilities to your creative arsenal.
